Gravel Road Band

The Gravel Road Band lives at the intersection of blues and bluegrass with live show thats unpredictably fresh: blues, bluegrass and R&B flavored concoctions that pour from the soul and will leave you shaken, stirred and smiling.

Matt Slocum writes the songs, arranges covers, plays some slide behind some of DC’s best instrumentalists- John Relph’s Mandolin is dynamic, Willie Marschner and Janine Lewis provide Fiddle fireworks, Roger Hart shines with a bluesy harp over swampy percussion and Nancy Lisi rumbles on the upright bass.
