David Scott Weaver
David Scott Weaver is an award-winning songwriter who has earned recognition in the Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest and the Blues and Roots Radio International Song Contest. A Maryland native, Weaver crafts tunes in a range of genres from Americana to folk, bluegrass, gospel and rock. Over the years, he has collaborated with Mary Chapin Carpenter’s longtime producer, John Jennings, GRAMMY-award winners Cathy Fink and Marcy Marxer and Rickie Simpkins. He has also co-written songs with the legendary bluegrass tunesmith Louisa Branscomb.
