Bill Schroeher

Over the years, music has been my joy, my refuge, my creative outlet. It’s where I process the world and connect deeply—with fellow musicians, with strangers who become friends in the crowd, with anyone who’s ever needed a song to feel seen. There’s nothing quite like the shared energy when people start singing and dancing along—it’s electric.​

Today, I live in Northern Virginia and perform throughout the DMV area as both a solo acoustic artist and as part of several cover bands (Gutterball Kingpin, Wildflower Dreams, and 4th Street Underground). We play a wide range of music—rock, classic rock, Americana, folk, and alternative—from the ’60s to today. But no matter the genre, it always comes back to that same feeling I had as a kid by the fire: music as a bridge between souls.
